How is the chargeable weight determined?
When calculating the shipping cost, the basis is always the greater of the parcel’s physical and volumetric weights. That is, if the parcel is bulky but light, payment is based on the volumetric weight, whereas if it is small but heavy, it is based on the physical weight.
Volumetric weight is calculated using the following formula:
(Length × Width × Height) / 6000 = Volumetric Weight
Example: The volumetric weight of a 50 × 40 × 30 cm box will be (50 × 40 × 30) / 6000 = 10 kg.
